Auto defrag has been part of Windows OS for quite some time now. The only time defrag may be useful in HD is if you routinely write/delete a large number/size of files on a fairly routine bases. Though more likely stored on a separate HDs? Such as editing large media files. Otherwise, defrag tends to be of limited or no benefit for HD running a modern OS.
As mentioned, CCleaner may be of more use for easily clearing out unnecessary cached files. But uncheck or whitelist specific cookies you use to log into websites if you don't want to have to do so after running CCleaner.
