Dish Hopper Sling with New Traveler Sk1000

Just had these installed a few weeks ago. The installer had trouble with the Traveler finding the satellites. He called wine guard and they had him undo the cable to the dish receiver and then hook it back up after sats were found. They said it was a problem with the newest dish receiver coordinating with the antenna. Said we might have to do this every time we move. Gonna try folding up today and re-aiming. Does anyone else have this problem?
