dish message 002,partial signal loss

if you receive message "partial signal loss" and you have an over the air antenna connected to your dish receiver with an amplifer the problem comes from the amp if you shut it off when not using antenna there will be no problem. This problem drove me nuts, dish tech replaced all coax then changed the dish eventually they replaced the receiver,thats when i found the cause, at first the ota antenna was not hooked up and no problem when later the antenna was connected to receiver almost immidiately good old message 002 came on screen thats when i found turning off amplifier eliminated problem .just fyi for dish customers
