I have a similar receiver VIP622. I have a in-motion dome (one sat at a time) that I almost never use because I am a HD snob. I use a 1000.4 dish with both a Eastern arc and a western arc lnb. If you don't spend a lot of time in the mid-atlantic or north east you don't need the eastern arc lnb. The 1000.4 dish has a elevation micro-adjuster and removable lnb arm that makes it much easier to store than the 1000.2. Aiming any triple lnb can be frustrating so I use a AccutracIII+ meter that makes the process a snap. It has up to four rf strength bars where you can peak all of the sats at once. It does have an issue in that the batteries aren't strong enough to power the lnb for long so I plug the receiver into one port and the meter into another so the receiver will power the lnb.
