We have a 211K Dish receiver and Tailgator in our Outback boondocker. I carry 100' of cable to get a clear sky if I'm camping in the trees. I turn on the receiver in June and off in September for $7 per month.
Are you saying Dish will let you add he RV service for 3-4 months @ 7.00? If so great news. It has been unclear to me as to whether you had to pay the 7.00 year round even if not using it.
Thanks to all for your answers. Think I know what direction to head into now.
Yes, that's correct. Simply call DISH and add the receiver to your account when you want service in the RV and call them again to remove the receiver from your account when you no longer need it.
You don't need to tell them it is an RV. You just add the receiver to the account. I told them it was in a seasonal house. Got a second receiver in the MH that I turn on and off for snowbirding. The primary account receiver is in the sticks and bricks house which I have to leave on 12 months a year.
