Select one provider and use a single receiver at home and in the rig.
We use DTV and a DVR receiver. ie Recorded programs stay with the receiver. We time shift and skip the ads.
In addition the receiver uses a RF remote so that it doesn't have to be visible and in the rig it's mounted vertical in a closed cabinet.
