DISH on the road...DirecTV at home base

Before calling DISH would ask if anyone has knowledge of this.

We want to switch out DirecTV at our home base to DISH in order, for one, to get the $7 charge per receiver when traveling...makes no sense for us to have two satellite services at full price.

Question is would DISH go along with this move?

    Forgot to mention we have a Pathway X2 portable (with two 211 receivers) which is DISH and like the service.
