Dish or Direct or nothing

We get our High Definition TV fill just fine just using the available NATIONAL BROADCAST system from the local towns. Most things we watch is NCIS and local weather and news anyway hehe...
If we want to watch some of the CABLE CHANNELS then we can downstream over the internet I guess...
SO far NATL TV stations like CBS NBC etc and live radar from most of those stations suits us just fine... Each station is allowed up to six sub stations so you get to view more things other than just the National Stations. Lots of old movies and TV series shows.
Also lots of PBS broadcasts in foreign languages as well hehe...
The downside of course is trying to keep up with NASCAR and NFL football when on the road... Fm Radio and SIRIUS radio helps us here with their broadcasts.
