- Ro_n_JoeExplorer IIWe have an Outside Plan with Dish as we're full timers. Dish pay as you go is a great service and highly reco. Excellent customer service. Know absolutely nothing about Pathfinder
- Big_KatunaExplorer III pay $5 a month to keep an active account. That way I can turn it back on with a phone call.
- sprint99ExplorerWe just activated two receivers on our King One Pro and our Pay as You Go yesterday! :)
For those whom already have it, to suspend the service during off season, do you just not pay the bill or is it better to call? Are you charged anything when the you suspend the service?
Thank You. - JudgerrExplorerOops again. Forgot I could do that!

Oops! Dish??
You know you can edit your previous post rather than post an addition. - JudgerrExplorerOops! Dish??
- JudgerrExplorerThank you all. Was going to get the tailgater. But saw the Pathway has slightly bigger fish! I think that's what I will go with!

I bought Winegard Pathway X2 auto dome. It’s advantage is it lets you choose either DISHs eastern OR western arc. This is an advantage if there are trees or hills as the sats are located in different areas of the sky so higher chances of getting a signal.
DISH is way more RV friendly. You can change locals daily if you want. You can reauthorize your sat box from your phone.
X2^^ The Pathway X2 is not only eastern AND western arc capable, it has a larger reflector and stronger signal. With a Dish outdoor account, it's extremely easy to change locations with the phone app to get locals, too.
Rob - 8ntw8tnExplorerThis isn't a direct answer but...We've been Dish customers for several years; no complaints at all. We purchased the Pathway X2 for the RV and it has served us quite well for over 5 years. Our only issue with it while wintering in the Texas Hill Country is on those infrequent occasions when we get a bit of freezing rain. It tends to accumulate and freeze in the track and prevents the dome from rotating. Other than that it's been trouble-free. We recently acquired the RV in my signature and it came with a Travler installed. Our experience has been limited to utilizing it in our driveway, but it's working quite well. For us it was more economical and convenient to add the RV to our regular account. Hope this helps
- Big1Explorer III have the Dish with the King tailgater pro and I do the pay-as-you-go I love it.
