Don't know for sure, but we used that plan for several months last year. I think you just pay for a month, and lose what you don't use. Call Dish and ask is the best way to find out. They might let you do that. If so, post back, as I would like to know. We go out for a week at a time, and I don't want to pay for a whole month if we are not using it.
