Dish receiver /antenna compatibility

I have a Dish Model VIP 211K that I had been using without issues with my Tailgator antenna. Will the same receiver work okay with a Dish 500 tripod mount which has a dual LNB?
It does work ok with my roof mount King Dome that is a 2005 vintage but that antenna will only receive one satellite at a time.

    I believe a dual LNB will only allow you to access two of the three satellites. Why not upgrade to the 3 LNB so you can get all the satellites?

    I have the 3 LNB setup with my 211z and it works great.

    I already have the 500 and I was happy with it when I used it with my VIP 722K. I don't watch that much and having just 110 and 119 is ok for me while I travel. Just wondering about the compatibility of the 2 pieces.

    Yes, the 500 will work with your 211K...

    Don't forget to run a "Check Switch" routine once it's hooked up and aimed so it'll recognize the sats and update the EPG.

    Most of the HD programming is on the 129 satellite but most all of the programming is available in SD on 110 and 119. As long as you are OK with SD only then the Dish 500 antenna/LNB setup will work perfectly with the 211 series receivers.
