I use a DISH Network model 722VIP reciever, attached to a Trav'lr dish on the roof near the front of my Class A. The reciever outputs to a distribution panel via the SAT input. This distribution panel then outputs to each television in my rig including my outside TV.
My 722VIP has two remotes, one "line of site" and one "radio frequency".
I set the TV to channel 3 and use the RF remote to change sat channels on what ever TV I am watching.
Get a long HDMI cable and leave the receiver inside, and use an RF remote.
Good luck,
Jim
