While this question has been answered hundreds of times, let just say "to each his own". I love my DNS and would not want to have to use any other option. Calling 20-30 times a year to enter a new location? Nope! Reset my DVR every time I change locations? Nope. Have to interact with a DirecTV or Dish Network rep when I could just put up my antenna and watch TV? Nope. Do I care if my Network programming commercials come from the town I am currently in or from NY or LA (or Alaska!)? Nope. $15-20/month (less for Dish subscribers) so I can enjoy my life off the phone? You bet ya!
