We currently have Dish. We're moving in about 2 weeks. My parents currently have Direct. My Dish bill jumped another $5 this last month and had already jumped another $5 less than a year prior, so I feel like the rising prices is happening with both.
My deciding factor - I'm tired of my father calling and telling me to turn to channel XYZ to watch something and then I have to try to figure out what channel that is on my service. We're going to switch so that we match.
There was no clear one winner for me after comparing everything, so this seemed as good of reason as any to go with one. (Plus it would give them the $100 referral and us the $100 credit as well.)
