Forum Discussion
Hmm, interesting you view my post as a spammer. I’m not trying to sell anything. My wife and I literally just put this on our camper and found it super useful so we made a video about it to share the experience and information with other campers. We are full-time RVers, and been living in our fifth wheel for almost 4 years now. We love the lifestyle and just want to share our experiences with others and help them avoid or repair some of the same issues we have encountered. If the post offends you, please feel free to pass on by it. No one would call you out. Have a great day!
We get a lot of SPAM here, mostly from Visitors who are not actual members first time posts with links to click bait.. If it's legit great and welcome to the forum. I suggest you complete your membership so you don't show as a visitor.

I’ll work on that today. I suggest you practice a little more patience before tagging every post as spam. As I see you have a history of doing from viewing your posts. You might just be turning good new members away with the tactic you are using at the moment. Because to be honest, this being the first response to my first post. It’s making me reconsider if I joined the right forum. I choose to take a deep breath and see what happens from here and not judge the entire community from one persons response. I hope you have a great day!

You didn't choose the right forum. It's a mis managed mess with zero support from a conversion 2 years ago where all the users left and only about 5 legacy members bother to tune in once a day. 95% of the traffic is visitors that come to the site with either SPAM (which gets deleted so you don't see the full impact) or to respond to decades old posts they find in a google search, mess up the sort order (which has never been fixed) and then never return. The other legit 5% we try and help. If you actually spend any time on here, you'd know what you are talking about. Vetting SPAM posts is one of the ways us users can actually help the only mod left. I did my yoga for the day, thanks. And before you ask, yes we tried. We tried focus groups, feedback etc. In response, all support is gone, all the mods are gone - sans one and they can also not get any response from any support. This forum is flotsam in a sea of better avenues like FB and real forums with real support. Shame, it used to be the go-to place. But like anything Good Sam/Camping world touches, it gets ruined. If you still want to hang around and try and provide some support to these new members, more power to you. Actions speak louder than words.

Actions certainly do speak louder than words. And reading on here is all the actions we can experience. So, why not try to make a community you say is dying more welcoming? Give people a chance before automatically labeling them as spam. You have to grow a community for it to thrive. Unless you don’t want it to thrive. Then why stick around? As far as commenting on older posts, they are there for knowledge. If someone needs clarification on a point or fact then why be upset because they ask? Why does a search order matter. Shouldn’t interaction be prioritized? We are talking about people who tune in looking for answers most likely.
