Do We Need to Access Eastern Arc Dish Satellites

As Techwriter mentioned, the elevation differences between the EA and WA sats can make a significant difference in getting a signal. We've been in a number of heavily treed parks where the higher elevation of the EA allowed us to get a signal through gaps in the trees that the WA elevation couldn't "see". Where we are currently in Florida, the 56° elevation would likely be enough to hit the EA within the length of our motorhome if we needed it.
