Do We Need to Access Eastern Arc Dish Satellites

We're researching Dish TV and we live and travel between PA and North Carolina. Is anyone having success with their many choices of Western Arc dishes, or do we need the Winegard Pathway2, which is m...

I am in Upstate SOUTH carolina and the park has a DISH subscription. they use the western Arc (Oconee County 3 miles in from G via I-85).

YOU might not be abe to see one satellite if you are far enough East. that is why the eastern Arc

If you are worried and wish a self-pointing antenna try a Winegard Pathfinder X-2
