Does anyone else struggle w/ m.campingworld.com?

Out here, there are a half-dozen RV dealerships with different hours and seasonal hours themselves.

I find myself constantly going to campingworld.com on the phone to check the local store hours.

First, if you just ask Google, Google responds "closed" when the store is open. It's either because it's picking up the sales dept hours or because no one on the eComm team knows how to make Google work.

Then when I finally pull up campingworld.com, it forces me to the mobile site (gee - wish I had a full site option!) and shows the hours in some format that is cut off, and cannot be pinched or zoomed or scrolled on any of my mobile browsers.


C'mon Camping World. It could be just my phone, but I doubt it. You guys really seem to be working hard to make sure no one buys anything off the 'net.

I don't get it.
Where I work, we make sure the eComm site is golden because that's what it produces for us: gold. :)

  • If camping world wants to have a true Online experience, they should come up with a CW app for phones to make the process easier. I'm sure they can easily afford it considering how much Marcus throws out at buying other companies.
  • My brother has that phone, although not AT&T. Isn't there a menu view option to force the desktop version?

    And by all means, do not let me interrupt the whining! You know that's highly encouraged. :B .

  • Hi Tom, I'll be happy to. But to be clear I don't think I'm looking for assistance or instruction on working the website. I'm *whining* that it's not displaying correctly on my phone.

    If it's working well on other's phones, then I know it's an issue with my ATT Samsung Galaxy S5's native browser and Chrome.
