I guess YOU have never experienced AOL dialup back in the day?
You would often get disconnected due to high traffic after 2 PM to midnight.. Would often take several hrs an evening to connect long enough to read one email with text only.. Emails with pictures.. never happened.. and surfing the net was a luxury if you managed to get 10 minutes without the dreaded "goodbye" disconnect sound :S
Folks, just turn off the PC when done.
Win7 and Win8 boot fast from cold start so there is ZERO reasons to leave it on all the time..
Additionally when the PC is on it is continually polling for software updates which creates a lot of unneeded network traffic.
WiFi by its nature IS a "limited" resource, please be kind to other campers and not hog it.
