UPDATE: Received a call from the store manager and it seems the Longmont, CO store received 14 chairs and the Golden, CO store received none. She is going have a chair sent down for me. Stuff happens....

Sometimes this happens for legitimate reasons.
Those Sunday newspaper fliers are prepared weeks/months in advance and sometimes the container ships from China don't arrive with the right material to sync-up with what the flyer says will be on sale that day.
But I don't doubt that some of the time, it really is the old bait and switch tactic being employed.
