Download speed slow on one laptop
I have three laptops. This newest HP, running Windows 10, is running download speeds from 3 to 5 Mb/s. The other two laptops run around 90Mb/s. This is the newest of the three and one of the old ones ...

The modem converts the cable running to my house to digital form. In my case, it feeds the router that takes that digital signal, via ethernet cable and sends it out to my devices, via other ethernet connections and/or WiFi. But no matter how I got the signal from the router to this laptop, it was slow.
Latest update: My download speed on this laptop has mysteriously gone up to 30 Mb/s, but nowhere near the 90 to 100 that other devices get.
