Yes, that is what I did this morning. Called frontier once I saw the input via the cable was 14-16 Mbps and laptop wifi was only 3 or 4 Mbps they said that it is way too much drop to just be interference from others being on the same frequency. They said the Arris router was an old version so they are sending me a new router. I should see if it works any better in a couple of days.
