I can tell you a couple of things about the 211. It requires a separate, ac powered external hard drive if you want DVR functionality. You can only watch a DVR recording while it's recording a show, no dual function. It's cheap to buy, and Dish will only charge its monthly rate while you are using it. My biggest complaint is that it only comes with IR remote. I run two TVs off of it but have to try to set the receiver in a position at the back of the camper that has line-of-site from the front of the camper if I don't want to go into another room to change stations. Hope this helps a bit.
