Sounds like a great plan as long as the rear of the RV is point in a generally Southern direction. If the rear is pointed North there is no possibility of finding a satellite located in the Southern sky.
Don't get me wrong, I actually like the setup. It's just not a setup that will work anywhere or anytime.
