Extendable Antenna Mast

I like your idea, but I boon dock at the beach so a dipole isn't very practical. I was thinking of a buddypole or the Alpha antenna, on top of a flagpole mast. This will be my first season trying it out. Should be fun. I also use two 6v T125 Trojans so I wondering what the power drain will be. When on SSB typically we only chat for a few seconds. It will be interesting exercise. I did just start doing digital at 30 watts less of a drain...
