Facebook transferring…

Win7, FF 44.0.2

I pretty much leave my desktop on and have the same four tabs open every day, as I use them every day. Ourgroceries (a simple android/pc list app), a streaming radio list site that has the various streaming radio stations to choose from, fibit fitness tracker, and imgur which is my image hosting site.

When I started the machine this morning after an overnight power outage and shutdown I elected to let ff attempt to recover the tabs rather than just starting anew like I usually do. During the recovery attempt the Facebook transferring message displayed and eventually ff said it could not recover the tabs.

I’ve never used facebook. What would facebook be transferring?

Thanks

I use my tabs for many BROADCASTIFY RADIO SCANNER freqs here. Probably have ten channels in it right now that all load up when I log on... It works just like the old Police scanners use to work.

Never have had any problems here with WIN10 and GOOGLE CHROME...

I am using ADVANCED SYSTEM CARE free software and it does its thing about every three days...

  • Facebook is SO intertwined in EVERYTHING now it's alarming. I've seen that too. Google, and Google Chrome is also involved in that practice too. :(

I clear my complete history, cache etc now and only use one tab at a time. Close it, clear everything and then move on. I never allow more than one tab open.
