- craftyfoxExplorerwill check all these out. I have wifi at home and on the road or away from home I have a MiFi Jet Pack w/Verizon so I can use the tablet most anywhere. Only problem is staying within my 5gb a month on the road with 2 computers in the rig plus the tablet. Oh well, guess hubby will have to give up some of his internet time!
- 1775ExplorerGas Buddy - finds gas prices where you are or any location you input. Of course you will need a wifi connection for that. You are going to need a wifi connection for most apps that will find campgrounds, prices, etc. Not a problem if you are home, at a campground with wifi, or any of the many free wifi locations in stores, fast food, etc.
Your Samsung tablet probably came with an Office suite but if not there are several at the Play Store that are free and MS Office compatible.
Also - Go to the Amazon apps page - there is a free Android app every day. These are paid apps that you get for free. Amazon does this as a promotion. Some are great, some for kids, some just skip. All you need is to be registered on Amazon to get the apps - set your tablet to "allow third party installations" in the settings - usually under security.
Enjoy! - CardinalRuleExplorerCopilot Navigation. Start with the freebee and if you like it upgrade to the paid version. IMHO the best map program for the money.
- in5rExplorer"around me" locates and gives you directions to different stores/services around you, you can choose from a pre determined list or type in your own request.
"gas buddy" check gas prices near you or wherever you choose to know.
"my tracks" if you wish to record a path you have taken, weather it be walking, biking, driving, boating. This app shows a gps map of distance traveled, average speed, time moving. actually very interesting. All of these are free as well - downtheroadExplorer

- CloudDriverExplorerDo a search on the Play Store for "Pocket Ranger". They have apps for a number of States with State Park info and more.
I also have AllStays Camp and RV (not free, but good info) and Chimani National Parks on my android phone and Samsung tablet.
Just downloaded these recently, so haven't used on a trip yet. - rvjamesExplorerWe like RV Checklist. Not sure that it works on the galaxy but it works on all our android stuff. Give it a look
- kayakcrazyExplorerHello craftyfox. DW and I have Apple 5s phones and two Apps I use around the RV are the flashlight and the bubble level. Why go looking for either when they are always in the pouch located on my hip.
