It sounds similar to the internet service I have at my stick house. There's a fixed antenna (similar to the small dishes used by satellite providers) on my roof that is pointed at another antenna on a hill on the other side of the valley from me. It's essentially long-range wifi. However, the FibAire service is far less expensive and offers greater speeds then the service I have.
