Among many things, it says "Wifi is for the use of registered guests of XYZ RV park" and a whole lot of other legal mumbo jumbo. To relate it to your industry, it is really no different than people who register several Satellite TV receivers and say they are in their bedrooms and bathrooms and yet are actually in the houses or RVs of their friends and neighbors. Heck it's free and no one is ever going to check, so what is the big deal? It is just the big bad satellite company that is not getting it's $100+ a month for the programming and instead is just getting the $5.00 added receiver fee. So what if you are violating the actual terms of service agreement you signed, it benefits you, your friends or your family, so it is actually OK.
Free is free, no way around that. You can try to construe "please be courteous" with some form of obligation but it's simply not true. It's simply your values over riding reality (the thing the businesses want from you). It's marketing and it works.
The truth is that there is absolutely nothing wrong with doing what the OP is doing, but it might not be something you would do. The same thing could be said for skydiving. Just because you think someone is doing something stupid does not make it wrong.
I have said my last word here as I think many of us will simply have to agree to disagree.
However, what bothers me the most is that this should be a community forum with helpful and insightful exchanges of information. Instead the poster is being bullied for having asked a simple question and offered information that could be useful to others.
How about a bit of "Kumbaya" here and let's keep this forum civil, warm and helpful?
Yes, many companies provide wifi for free for their customers. The key is it is for their customers, not the general public. Every person who leeches off a wifi system is going to slow it down for the legitimate users. It isn't fair to the company and it isn't fair to their patrons, but heck, it works for the leech, so it must be OK.
