Firefox Bookmark ques

Question

I switched from internet explorer to firefox. I then transferred my favorites to firefox.

So now I open the bookmark banner on firefox, have to go down to "from internet explorer", then switch to my favorites from IE, go the the next banner and select the site.

Is there a way to get the selection of the internet explorer I transferred directly into the firefox book mark pull down?

I believe,  if you show all bookmarks you can drag them around and organize them how you want

SHFT+CTRL+B and drag the IE bookmark folder up to the top, or even drag and drop onto the Firefox Bookmarks Toolbar if you want easy dropdown access from the browser.

On Firefox click BookmarksClick Show All BookmarksPop up window opens called LibraryClick on Import and BackupClick on Import Data from another BrowserPop up opensChoose your Browser, then click Next

With Firefox, it is not necessary to sort your bookmarks.

To bring up a bookmarked page:

1. Hit the 'F6' key.

2. Start typing the name of the bookmark (you'll get a drop-down menu).

3. Select the page you want from the menu.

BTW:
If you use 'Ctrl+D' to set a bookmark you can give the bookmark a unique name
(there are other ways).
