Okay - to finish this off - went and just looked at a Class 'C', priced it at 95% of MSRP, plus an extra 25% for the salesman that didn't lie to me ... so can buy a used one with no warranty and guaranteed to fall apart as soon as I drive it off the lot. But, the walk-thru fixed the laptop, right as suggested above. :) :) :)
Decided to forget it, but the mere threat of Class 'C' action and the laptop repaired itself. Must be that unlimited WIFI that comes with the 'C' RV with old tires ...
But, back to MS WDW8, in fact, shut off all the tiles, shut off all the auto-upgrades, and now am back to the normal usage per day ... so, thanks for the info guys - looks like all is well in the hotspot land today ... :)
