FireFox

I use both. Chrome is where I do all general Web browsing, Firefox is where I do banking. That way, if Chrome gets infected/compromised, it won't spread to my banking stuff.

Sure, one is designated as your default but it doesn't stop you from installing and using others.

Just un-select the option for the other browser's to check to see if its the default browser, so it doesn't keep prompting you.

Ubuntu is an operating system and Firefox (which comes bundled with Ubuntu) is just a browser. I use Firefox on my netbook which is running Ubuntu as the operating system. It is fast and works great.

I like ubuntu more than any of the others. Seems like less overhead and speed is great.
Every now and then try IE and that only last a few minutes.

I use both. When one annoys enough I switch to the other. Of course, my service provider ATT has a lot to do with my annoyence.

I tried Chrome last year and found out it didn't work for me. They claim that sites load faster, and they're right - the way they get it to work is to have the browser constantly download every site you might want to access, so that when you do access it, the data is already there. Unfortunately, if you are on a limited data connection, such as a mifi or hotspot device you can easily exceed your monthly quota. The month I tried using Chrome my monthly usage went from just under 10GB to just over 13GB. So, I went back to the old standby: Firefox.

Firefox is the best for web surfing.When you search for something,it doesn't suggest 500 things you're not looking for before you finish typing.And,if you go back to the same site alot,it will show up when you start typing so you really don't have to save it to favs like you do with IE.I just think it blows the others away.
