FireFox

I use firefox and ubuntu, wife only has ubuntu. Tried google a few years back and had nothing but problems and malware problems. I put ubuntu on wife's due to her browing, facebook and farmville playing.
I like ubuntu more than any of the others. Seems like less overhead and speed is great.
Every now and then try IE and that only last a few minutes.

Ubuntu is an operating system and Firefox (which comes bundled with Ubuntu) is just a browser. I use Firefox on my netbook which is running Ubuntu as the operating system. It is fast and works great.

Sure, one is designated as your default but it doesn't stop you from installing and using others.

Just un-select the option for the other browser's to check to see if its the default browser, so it doesn't keep prompting you.

I use both. Chrome is where I do all general Web browsing, Firefox is where I do banking. That way, if Chrome gets infected/compromised, it won't spread to my banking stuff.
