Thanks everyone, I think I've got the info I need. Sch911, I do have the red/white/yellow outputs on the sat receiver but I'm using the HDMI port to connect the TV and I'm not sure I can then plug into the red/white for audio out as well. I'll use the headphone jack on the TV since that apparently will work OK.
