For all U Metal Detector guys....just a little help

I understand "Whites" is a good brand of Metal Detector. Not looking to spend a fortune, but any models in the $200-300 range would be helpful.
Thank you all in advance for your suggestions. Oh, I'll be using the device to find Valve boxes (with valves) for irrigation systems.

    I have a Whites. I have had it for about 10 years. I love it.. I have used it for finding meter boxes to one of my hobbies combing the beaches for lost goodies. I think the White will do what you want it to.
