don't drink coffee, but can pay for anything with my debit card.
-control my Directv with the 'remote control' appAgain don't have it or need it.
- watch old Hawaii 5-0 episodes in bed
with my netbook I can watch anything in bed and actually see the show. At home, my roku gives me access to anything I want.
-find businesses my GPS is too dumb to know about
can do that with my flip phone.
-order a pizza
can do that with my flip phone.
-read the QR codes in many magazines and on posters
have never needed to read QR codes.
-keep a shopping list
can do that on my flip phone.
- set my wakeup alarm (yuck)
can do that on my flip phone.
-check my stocks
can do that on my flip phone if I wanted. Usually do it from my netbook so I can see the whole thing in a print size I can read.

I think folks get caught up in things to the point that they forget there is more than one way to get the same result. There isn't an "only way" to do things. What works for one person doesn't work for another. What one person needs another person doesn't. The only dumb people out there are the ones who waste their money buying something because "it's the best way" without doing their own research to determine if it's the best way for them. What ends up being the "best way" is dependent upon the person and their own wants and needs.
