For those that resist giving up their flip phone...
Saw this Dilbert comic and it reminded me of members of RV.net who insist they don't need/want a smartphone and that their flip phone does everything they need. Dilbert comic

Hmm, my wife says it wouldn't last that long if it was actually turned on. Guess there's a downside to everything. I love gadgets, but the smartphones simply cost too much, not so much the initial cost, but the continuing connection charges. Many people are paying over $1000 for a year's usage. I just think of the amount of fuel I can buy with that, and it helps put things in perspective.
If you think a $1000.00 is bad you are lucky that you don't have to pay what us Canadians do. We are about the highest gouged on the planet.
