The Mingle has gotten a reprieve. I joined the Freedompop forums listing the issue with LTE as the reason. I instantly got a email saying they were having issues with the carrier and hoped to have it taken care of soon. The 3G works well and here's 100mb free for your troubles.
The reprieve will end if by the time my free trial expires I can't use it for 4G. The free 500mb account for Freedompop is 4G only and to be able to use 3G too cost extra. I'd rather buy a extra gig for the phone or a Verison hotspot if I am going to pay for it.
