Garmin RV760's are now shipping

Ditto here. And it looks like the wireless camera may be available in a week or so.

Question: Why did you select this model?

Keep us updated on how you like it. Any ideas of a store a person could go to and see the device. I am not comfortable with spending $399 on something I haven't seen before. I am looking to replace my Rand McNalley 7710 which gave up the ghost.

Many people ordered this unit when Gamin inadvertently posted the employee price as the unit price ($210 I believe) over a weekend.
I don't believe anyone has even seen one much less played with one. I am not sure it's going to be much more than the Dezl 760 rebranded and the truck option removed but it will be interesting to see what it turns out to be.

Agreed. I have seen reports that some of the trucking features have been removed/replaced. It will be good to see what they stripped/added.

Thanks for the update....too bad they were not shipping before we leave Monday. Maybe next year now, might even catch one on sale before then.

Agree, sure looks like it is based on the Delz760 but much/all of the trucking stuff is replaced with RV specific limits,and there is a lot of RV related stuff added, like the Rand McNally etc. Campgrounds, fuel stations, dump stations, etc. and routing for RV length size etc. but w/o the commercial truck limitations that don't apply to RV's. Also more voice activated commands.

Mine should be here Monday or Tuesday.
