- CallThisCampingExplorerI did not pre order ; (, but when I called them yesterday, the lady in customer support said that they would be shipping the week of the 23rd. I'm sitting in my brother in laws driveway in New York after the drive from San Diego. My 2460 put me on some "interesting" roads on the way here. Maybe I'll call them again.
- ktmrfsExplorer IIMine showed up saturday while we were gone.
First impressions: NICE!!
I tried the voice features. asked for campgrounds, gas stations, rest stations etc. using voice commands, and it hit it on the nose every time. Huge list of topics it will do with voice commands.
setup for the tow rig was super easy, and it lets you do muliple rig setups, which for us is nice since one trailer is 35' the other only about 20'.
sync's with my cell phone and should show traffic etc. from the cell phone on the display, will try that soon.
one of the choices it gives is "no unpaved roads" which in some cases would be nice.
the filter on RV/campgrounds is very extensive for choices you can select
It will get it's first "workout" in a few days. - Bucky_BadgerExplorer

tell me more about syncing you phone for traffic. I thought traffic is included in the reciever - Cajun_BillExplorerAnxious to hear more. Thinking about ordering one as soon as I'm convinced it is what it is supposed to be. Gonna be making a long trip next month and wanting to upgrade from my Nuvi 750.
- Bob_VaughnExplorerI have the garmin Desi 760 and I wonder if it is just a soft ware change to convert it to the rv 760?
- cardinal_pilotExplorerI received mine yesterday. Looks good but there will be a learning curve on all these features. I also have SmartLink App on my S3 and subscribed to advanced weather so now I get road conditions and geo-referenced radar.

yes, traffic is included, however the traffic included is broadcast on the FM band (or was) and does NOT cover the entire U.S. but mostly the larger cities. My experience is that it is often not that current.
the $4.99 app for traffic uses your android (or Iphone) traffic. With android, the traffic shows up as real time anywhere there is cell coverage. Best I can determine, what goes on is that google is able to get average speed of phones in cars on roads from the cell sites and compare to road speed limits. Then shows green, yellow, red. My experience is that it is extremely accurate and current. In the past I've used the phone rather than GPS for traffic for that reason.
the android traffic will even show traffic patterns on residential streets in our neighborhood. In the early morning it will be "yellow" on roads I know have lots of local traffic then swith to green quickly after "rush hour". These are roads with 25mph speed limits in residential areas.
BTW you can also for $4.99 get most of the state DOT roadcams as well from your phone app. - restlesswindExplorerWhat is the name of the traffic app ? I will be ordering the RV 760 as soon as we get some place to stop long enough to have it delivered.
Also, where did you order from ? - Bill_SatelliteExplorer IIIt's part of the Garmin device options so you need to have a newer Garmin GPS first.

I am hearing that they left out a BIG RV spec in the profile - that there is no setting for Propane Onboard.
Is this correct?
Initial reports from Garmin was that it was not included but then with the delay to ship, I was hoping that this was added to the firmware before shipping.
