Just brought back the dell laptop we brought as I discovered windows 8sucks,thinking of a goggle chrome . me,any input? Is there a lot of games available or it?must be able to play scrabble and bejeweled bliss,for my wife. We are computer illiterate,any help appreciated,thanks

Google Chrome laptops must be connected to the Internet in order to work it's like one big browser the programs are actually Web programs. Take the windows eight computer you just bought And add a program to make it look like Windows 7 I think you be much happier . You can also wait until the windows eight update comes out which will make it look more like Windows 7 Oops Then again I see you already took your old computer back so never mind :-)

While a Chromebook does rely heavily on the internet or cloud, many of its apps can also be used offline so it's still usable without an internet connection.If the games your wife likes to play are web based then it's possible they will work on a Chromebook but if they are Windows apps then they definitely aren't usable on a Chromebook.What sucked about Windows 8? It isn't that much different than Win 7.
