We have two insignia TV with wall warts. They run off 12 directly and are fine. Our front is 24" an the rear is 19". I installed a HDMI cable from front to rear with an electronic splitter for the BluRay. No problems since I put the rear TV on an angle. The wall mount didn't allow enough down swivel.
The DW loves the 24" and says it is better than our LG, HD, 32".
