Hmmm, I signed up today too. They said nothing about an origination fee. I asked about any "installation fees" but forgot about "origination fees". I will have to check into that first thing in the morning. Otherwise everything went smoothly and appears on the up and up. I wanted Dish primarily for the Pac-12 network, since I live on the west coast.
