Try creating a new Firefox profile to check whether its corrupt?
Press Windows Key+R and in RUN, type or copy and paste Firefox -p and ENTER.
Click the Create Profile.. button and follow prompts to create new test profile. You may also want to uncheck Don't ask at startup.. for now so you can easily get back to the Choose User Profile prompt when Firefox first starts.
Start Firefox with the new profile and check if Google is now working?
