Google maps on iPad

Has anyone tried viewing the maps.google.com website on an iPad? When I try it, it hangs right when it should be showing me directions. It lets me enter start and end points, but then nothing.

That site is my favorite trip planning tool, because I can experiment with different routes by entering a start, an end, and a few waypoints to make it show the route I am considering. Works fine on a PC.

The mapping apps I have don't allow me to enter waypoints.

    Worked fine for me. Have you tried closing some of the other apps that are running in the background? Hit the button on the front twice and the apps should show up at the bottom. If you select one and hold it, it will allow you to close them. I'd also try restarting it and run GM before you open any other apps and see what happens.
