Google Question

A few days ago I imported my favorites from IE into Google bookmarks, as a result of this action all my Google bookmarks have disappeared and I can't bookmark anything in Google. Is there a way to undo this action that I did?
  • Thanks for all your advice, I was able to finally get ahold of a computer friend of mine. Using remote viewing of my computer he was able to figure out what was going on with my bookmarks in google chrome. The original bookmarks are unrecoverable and I have to operate the imported favorites from IE as though it was still in IE, it works, I can save website links once again that I want.
  • You will have to goto the Google site settings and preferences and see if you can restore it from there

Do not confuse Google and chrome
What is on chrome is on the pc..what is in Google is on the web

I do not use web storage for anything but pictures and emails
My bookmarks my documents are on my pc, shared pictures are on photobucket,
Anything out there on the www is subject to being lost, or spread forever to everybody
  • Maybe I didn't say what happen clear enough, in google I had a separate set of bookmarks. I though that by importing "my favorite" from IE the two would merage under bookmarks. This isn't what happen, all the existing bookmark that I'd under google bookmark had disappeared and only the IE favorite are showing. I can no longer add anymore web links to the google bookmarks or to the imported "my favorite"

I've already tried restoring Google Chrome, deleted it and re-installed and there has been no change.
  • Look on your toolbar for a tab called "imported from IE". Your bookmarks are there

  • Try logging into Google, also install the Google toolbar and then you may see a different icon to access your bookmarks.
