GPS purchase

Have used a garmin 760lmt AND a garmin 2555lm AND copilot (with dimensions loaded) on an iPad for 2 months continual travel. The 760 has consistently sent me into low height and overweight situations in spite of it being loaded with dimensions and on rv profile. Frankly I doubt that it uses the information. The disclaimers when you turn it on make me suspicious. I don't any longer use it for navigation but it is nice to have with a map view and to find Starbucks. Waste of money. But copilot on the iPad is brilliant and is used by our human copilot

Dude, It's more than about maps, you need to upgrade your hardware! We're running 3597A LMT HD and getting traffic re-routes like 30X a minute. Life is good! :)

Garmin 55lm and check route with good Sam travel planner. Garmin 760 was useless for rvs and had a clumsy user interface.

I had it on a iPad mini. Using my old Garmin Nuvi for now, but was looking for a larger screen. This seemed like a good fix if it would have worked correctly.

But it's VERY obvious from your incorrect statements that you DON'T have hands-on experience using Co-Pilot so why are you claiming such?

Perhaps my computer illiteracy contributed to my experience, but when I bought the Garmin Glo and the Co-pilot app, I couldn't get the screen to change when the vehicle indicator moved off screen unless I zoomed out. Additionally, the lag time on the vehicle indicator was unacceptable. I tried to get some tech support to assist, but was unsuccessful so I returned both the Glo and the app. for a refund.
