Well when you get here its thru Century link/telephone line, its not the fastest service but low cost and all the internet I want, it might be $40 a month, not sure will have to look at the monthly billing.

Its not a mobile wifi, just a wifi service for my home, sure would love that price for the road.

Yes, and will be among the first to subscribe to get my Game of Thrones fix. As I currently rely on a couple of different 4G mobile data accounts for net access.

Currently, don't subscribe to cable, but may go back and add broadband service, possibly adding the minimum cable TV package. Which, ironically, is $10. a month cheaper packaged, than just cable broadband by itself?

Well let me revise my 1st post, yes many cable companies are already internet providers and will still be in the game for some time, as for me I have unlimited wifi up to 10 gig speed for $35 per month, with this I have Roko box on every TV and download all programs, movies, news, etc, etc for pennies on the dollar compared to Direct TV I use to have that cost $80 a month for a basic package of garbage and lots of commercials, I also have a good digital antennae on house to get up to 30 free channels here in the Vegas area, I also have Roko on the 2 TV's in my RV and a digital antennae as well.

The only thing lacking is on the road low cost unlimited wifi, however Google and some other providers are going to be offering this in the future and when they do that will be the final nail in the coffin for many cable providers.

We are saving about $1000 per year by going this route, as to wifi cost I would have had that anyways, as to movies on the road in RV well I am not a heavy TV watcher so the digital antennae is just fine and I use the free cable at the parks and their free wifi.

Once you go to Netflix or Amazon or many others that offer thousands of programs at 10th the cost of cable you to will cancel your cable/satellite..

If you think streaming HBO or any other premium video content is going to be cheaper than sat or cable "packages" then I have some prime ocean front land for you in Arizona.. I will also make you a good deal on the Brooklyn bridge if you like!

Another downside to streaming is the super high compression artifacts which is going to make many folks with real LARGE HD TVs cringe..

Put it into perspective.. "streaming" ISN'T INTENDED TO "REPLACE" Cable or sat delivery. No, it is meant for folks who are "on the go" with SMART PHONES, TABLETS, PERHAPS LAPTOPS.. Once you go to larger HD TVs the pixelization of high compression is going to be rather problematic at best.

Granted there are PAY streaming services like Netflix that do deliver somewhat watchable video I would not wish to make a habit of it since to me the video is disappointing on 32" or larger screens.

HBO is basically attempting to capture the "on the go" mobile crowd since that has been the market trend the last few years, and it isn't going to be a "cheap" service either..

If you are looking for cheap entertainment then visit thrift stores, a buck or two for a movie..
