HD on dual tuner receiver
I have dish net. vip622 receiver and on tuner 2 you only receive sd however i find if i have the receiver set to single mode(which i usually do)i the receive HD on all tv's. when talking to a friend ...

Not to argue with docj, but I believe the above statement to be correct.
I never disputed this point; I was trying to explain the difference between single and dual mode and to correct Bill's statement that "single mode negates the two tuners". It doesn't negate the two tuners, it just devotes both of them to serving a single TV.
