As I read it we are discussing an HDMI cable. These are about the worst cables to pull through existing work. BTDT & have the t-shirt.
In my case I cut the existing paneling @ the edges of the cabinets. I ran the HDMI cable first (DO NOT DO IT LAST) I used 12awg building wire as a tag line, cut it 2½ times the run.
Bead chain with a nut for weight & a strong magnet to find it can be a great aid for this type of work.
